Our appetite for Contractors consists of a broad spectrum of contracting risks ranging from small trades and general contractors (GCs) to large residential, commercial and infrastructure projects including wrap-ups for GCs, developers and owners.
General Contractors - Residential & Commercial This program is for general contractors who supervise projects and hire 100% of the subcontractors. This is not designed for fee-based construction managers or Trade/Artisan Contractors hiring subs of a similar trade to complete the trade work for which they have been contracted. Applicant must hold a proper license where required by state law. All subcontractors must be insured and name our applicant as an additional insured and carry equal or greater limits. New ventures are acceptable. Minimum premium ranging from $2,000 - $2,500 plus applicable fees and taxes. Artisan Contractors - Residential & Commercial Applicant must hold a proper license where required by state law. All subcontractors must be insured and name our applicant as an additional insured and carry equal or greater limits. New ventures are acceptable. Minimum premium around $1,000 plus applicable fees and taxes. All of our markets are A.M. Best Rated A or Better. In order to provide a quote, we will need the following: Completed, signed and dated Acord application along with a Contractors Supplemental application (which includes gross receipts, payroll and sub costs). Hard copy loss runs. 5 years if possible.
